WHAT IS GLEDIX?

Gledix is a program for Windows 9x/NT/2k/XP, what allows you to remote-control your computer from any place on the world by just using a internet connection and browser. Gledix is actually a server (that currently isn't able to run on other OSes yet) that opens a HTTP-connection, where you can login from another computer and control the computer where Gledix is running on. NEWS

I've just released the first version of Gledix, version 0.3a. This is the first version that's available for download on Sourceforge.net. With this new version, you can try Gledix and see what is does. In this version you're able to do some of the most important features of Gledix, but of course not yet fully worked out because there will be much more versions that will add and improve the current features.

PLANNED FEATURES

Here are some features (planned to integrate in the next versions of Gledix) listed, any requests are welcome and can be mailed to smeltvogel@gmx.net.

• SSL and advanced security connections. These will improve the security of the http connection between the client (internet browser) and the server.

• Add Control-type settings. With this you can change the type of control and the permissions (full control, control for one program only, etc.), the client has when remote-controlling the server.

• WAP Support. Planning to add WAP support, so that the server also can be controlled by a mobile phone on any place of the world, by just using a WAP-browser and connection.

• And much more features not yet listed here.
